"The Best Performance Improvement Award" & "Overall Winner: Innovation with Impact Award – North Eastern States" Awards in 2019

Among all the Distribution Companies in the country in the 7th Innovation with Impact Awards for Discoms 2019 organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce and supported by Ministry of Power, Government of India held at Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi on 6th & 7th November 2019. The awards were handed over to MSPDCL Managing Director L. Priyokumar Singh and Executive Director (Technical) H. Shantikumar Singh by S C Garg, Secretary (Ministry of Power, New and Renewable Energy). The awards were as a result of steep improvement in the power sector in the state. Average power supply has increased to 24 hours per day from 8-12 hours per day 5 years ago. There has been quantum leap in billing and collection efficiency due to implementation of per-paid meters.

MSPDCL received “Overall Innovation with Impact Award (North Eastern States)” in 14th India Energy Summit 2021 held on 24th and 25th February, 2021, organized by Indian Chamber of Commerce and supported by Ministry of Power, Government of India. The Award was received by Shri Ng. Subhachandra Singh, Managing Director, MSPDCL via Video Conference Meeting.
